God's Favorite Child

God has a lot of children
And He loves them all, thats true.
But there's not a single one of them
He loves more than you!
God's looking down from Heaven
With a smile upon His face,
Admiring you, His masterpiece,
A product of His Grace.
He's calling all His angels
And the faithful saints of old,
come here and stand beside Me
And my lovely child behild.
They would not have even known you
If they had seen You just before
You heard His gentle whisper
And His knock upon your door.
with child like faith you opened up
And bid Him to come in.
He gave to His righteousness
And took away YOUR sin.
With quiet desperation
And a coldness in your soul
You brought a wounded, broken heart
And let Him make it whole.
You were looking for forgiveness
And a way through Heaven's door.
That you found, through faith in Him.
But He gave you so much more!
Child, now it's time to understand
All the blessings you've been given.
His life in you, His goodness too,
And His power for your living.

Jesus knows me, this I love
He is God’s Grace from up above.
Jesus gave His life for me
My sins are gone, and I am free.

Jesus is my rock, on Him I’m gonna roll
All the worries of my heart and
Burdens of my soul
The storms of life keep coming
Just never slowing down
I’m going under water
I think I’m gonna drown
Then my feet land on the rock
That’s sure and true and strong
And as I’m flooded with his peace
My heart burst into song
Seems the battle’s never ending
I just don’t know what to do,
But His Love He just keeps sending
And I know I’ll make it through.
There’s no other way to make it.
You can only try in vain.
Give Him your burden, He will take it,
Then His Grace will ease your pain.
So when waters rise and storm winds blow,
Just Look in HIS eyes; then you ‘ll surely know,
Jesus IS your rock,
to Him He’ll let you roll
All the worries of Your Heart, and troubles of your soul.
