THERE WILL BE TIMES

There will be years when there are tears,

There will be days the sky is gray.

There will be times your path’s unclear

You will feel you’ve lost your way.

These times you’re called to walk by faith,

Because there is no sight.

So while you FEEL the path is dark,

Be TRUSTING in His light.

Sometimes when faith is dimmed by doubt

You wonder what life’s all about.

Cling to truth that’s from above,

“Nothing can keep you from His Love.”

The truth IS you’re in Jesus.

You ARE in the light,

If the darkness cast its shadows,

Then by faith you keep your sight.

He promised He would guide you.

He said He’d be your Way.

Fix your searching eyes on Him,

And the shadows flee away.

Your journey is not over;

You’ve not yet met defeat.

Obstacles are still to come,

And challenges to meet.

Your book is not yet finished;

You’ve pages still to turn,

But if you rest in Jesus, there,

God’s love you’ll surely learn.
